I got the first pattern done too, but have a problem of some sort. Maybe some of you can help me.

#1. Should there be 87 st on each row, or do some rows have more and some less

#2. After row 11, I ended up with quite a few extra stitches. I went through this row and found the following:
    K3 - OK
    K2 - OK
    yo - increase by 1
    k2tog tbl - decrease 1
    yo - increase by 1
    k1 - OK
    yo - increase by 1
    k2tog - decrease by 1
    yo - increase by 1

So as I see it, I am creating 4 new stitches and only decreasing 2

SO … what am I doing wrong :-)

I would really appreciate help as I would like to continue with this

  20. Carol Ann
    Dezember 1st, 2010 18:17

You’re forgetting to pass the slipped stich over. There are two decreases so the stitch count comes out to 87 on each row.

    Dezember 1st, 2010 19:36

Thanks for you help. Actually, it turns out that the written directions are a little different from the chart, and there are two extra yos in the written, so that would solve my problem

  25. Cindy
    Dezember 2nd, 2010 15:47

It looks like there is an error in Row 11, probably in the written instructions. It shows each repeat ending with “k2″, but the chart shows “k3″.
